Overnight Summer Camp
Camp Rise Above offers an overnight session for campers age 7-18 every summer at Camp Cole in Eastover, SC. Each camp session allows campers to grow in their confidence and capabilities in a safe, accessible environment. This four-night session fosters new levels of independence, lifelong friendships, and a much-needed respite for the families of campers. While we currently rent space from Camp Cole to provide overnight camps to our campers, we continue to work towards our dream of a camp facility in the Lowcountry. Camp Cole is a special site that allows us to safely offer week-long camps to our families and we are thrilled to partner with them as we serve our families. Deacon recently had an amazing time at camp. He was very apprehensive about going and had a LOT of anxiety. I asked him to try because he has never been around other kids with craniofacial issues. He tried it and had so much fun. He enjoyed every second of camp. Thank you for the invite! Sonya says, It's the best! She was so excited to tell everyone, she went up the wall today. These kiddos go through a lot during the year, and their time at camp allows them to totally just be a kid. We will start counting down the months and days to next year’s camp tomorrow.
